50 pounds in 4 Months Challenge

One of my best friends is getting married November 27. Last night while we were chatting on Facebook, we were talking about how we had gotten off track with our weight loss efforts over the past few months. After going back and forth with some ideas, one including starting a new blog, a very smart friend jumped in and suggested we use the blogs we have (this one and Plus Size Skills). She also suggested I make a new graphic to post on both of our websites. So here ya go!

Angel and I are starting our new challenge TODAY to reach our goal of losing 50 pounds by November 27. Do you think we can do it?! We are going to motivate and encourage each other on a daily basis to get our workouts in and to eat right. And to top it off we are going to reward ourselves accordingly. We decided to reward ourselves with a new outfit at 10 pounds lost, 25 pounds and 40 pounds. Then when we reach our goal of 50 pounds, and after her honeymoon of course, we are going to reward ourselves with a day at the spa or something like that. (We have to decide on the final reward, but it’s going to be something really nice and something we normally wouldn’t do!)

So come on! You can join us in this challenge if you feel so inclined and we’d certainly jump in to help motivate you too!     Way to go ladies for setting a goal. You CAN do this. What is your plan for each day? What type of workouts? I’m more for the inch loss than the scale numbers so be sure to take measurements because that will be the most important. Looking forward to keeping up with ya’ll.

    I’m heading to spin class at the gym tomorrow, what will you ladies be doing?

    Congratulations on your newest beginning!!! I want to join you! Having just started a similar journey, it would be helpful to see how you girls do it. What struggles, and things for overcoming them you come up with. Love your blog, it’s so happy and fresh!!

    Thanks ladies for all the support! It’s so exciting to have you all either joining us and/or supporting us!

    I will try to write a blog post each day with a recap of the prior day’s activities. So be sure you’re subscribed so you can stay updated as well. If I’m not subscribed to your blog (if you have one) I will go do that now :)
