50 Pounds in 4 Months Challenge Update: Aug. 15
The weekend is almost over, so I thought I’d get on here and catch you all up on my eating and exercise over the weekend. Overall I did pretty good food and exercise wise. Yesterday, Saturday, we went to a wedding and I did overeat, though most of what I ate was pretty healthy…for the most part. I could have left off the mashed potatoes and the roll though. I had a yummy salad, some mixed veggies, and some roast beef and I couldn’t even finish the roast because I was so full. I did also have a half of a glass of diet Coke and Captain Morgan. I couldn’t finish it either because it made me thirstier than I already was.
I did ALOT of dancing at the wedding and was sweating my you know what off, so I’m pretty sure that counted as a good cardio workout! It was a blast!!!
Today, Sunday, I had half a donut for breakfast. I didn’t get up in time to eat something before church which I know I should never do. It was actually an apple fritter. Then we came home from church and I made a ham and turkey wrap. My nephew made us some of his famous chicken quesadillas which are basically chicken and cheese melted in a tortilla. I had half of one with sour cream, salsa and some jalapeno slices. I didn’t exercise today….needed a day of rest.
Tomorrow I will get back with eating super good and doing the Jillian Michaels Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism DVD. We’ll see how many circuits I can make it through this time! Probably only 3 again. I may do one, skip one, do the next, skip one and so on to see how that works for me. Give myself a little rest between each one.
I’m not ready to weight myself yet. I want to start feeling skinnier before I do. Haha.

Awesome! Dancing is a great cardio workout and it sounds like you had fun doing it. Do you like that Jillian DVD? I just started the 30 day shred and so far I like it. It’s a great workout.
