Weigh In Wednesday Week 15
Wow! Fifteen weeks already?! Holy moly time goes by so fast!!! Well, I did another weigh in without the camera.
The batteries are dying on our digital scale, but I think it’s still weighing properly. We will have to get new ones soon though. I kept getting an error message, then finally it behaved. Are you wishing I would hurry up and get to the results? LOL. Okay, okay. Here is the big number for today:
205.4!!!
Woohoo!!!! Down 1.8 from last week. Not as much as I would have liked, but I will certainly take it! That means only 5.5 pounds to ONEDERLAND!!!! Shoot! If I weren’t working the Emmaus Walk this weekend I would try to work really hard this week to lose those 5.5 pounds this week. But, that’s not going to happen over the next 4 days. I will be doing A LOT of sitting and eating! HA! I think I’m prepared mentally for the weekend thought…food wise. Even though they serve lots of great tasting treats and foods, they also serve lots of healthy choices too. I’ve been pretty strong so far at resisting things like, oh, the caramel brownies my daughter made last night!!! So, I think I can resist during the weekend too. I’m hoping I can get out and walk some during our free time, but I don’t know if that will actually happen. Friday it’s supposed to rain, but maybe I can walk around the inside of the church some. We will see.
Okay, I’m babbling now. LOL. Just thinking “out loud”….on my blog…
I’ve been so busy getting ready for the weekend, I haven’t been posting my meal and exercise tracking blogs. I’ve been doing well the last few days and have added in some more fruits and veggies, which has helped me to get my sodium intake under control, down into the normal range.
Oh my gosh, last night, we had this yummy grilled steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was SO GOOD!!! I don’t know if it tasted so good because I hadn’t had mashed potatoes in a long time or what, but it was SO GOOD!!! Yum! I kept my portions down on that meal and according to Calorie Count I got an “A” for the day! Yay me!
I do plan on taking my laptop to the Emmaus Walk, but I doubt I will have time to blog at all. So, if I don’t get a post in before the walk starts tomorrow, I know I will be posting about it on Monday

Good job Mary! Yeah, it’s darned hard to not gain a pound or two on Emmaus. Lack of sleep affects your body, I actually retain water (get puffy) if I don’t get enough.

Kelly-I too retain water when I sit for so long, but I’m going to try to get up as often as I can to move around a bit. I feel awful when I don’t get enough sleep…it actually upsets my stomach.
