Meal Tracking and Activity Log for Thursday

No activity to report today :( Tishia and I had every intention of walking or doing a workout video together today, but other things got in the way. We are both registered to “compete” in our first ever 5K race on Saturday…hehe yeah right. I’m so nervous. Not that I won’t be able to finish, because I’m pretty sure I will be able to. I just don’t want to come in last or have people look at me like, “What’s she doing in the race? She doesn’t belong here”. Ugh. Oh those stupid insecurities. Anyway, we ended up working for like 2 or 3 hours decorating our t-shirts for the race. Then we both had work to do for our online businesses so before we knew it, it was like 9pm. Tishia went home to get some writing done and I’ve been working on a report for a client as well. Now it’s almost 10:30, so no workout today. :( Boo! I hate it when I let time get away from me like that.

Anyway, here is my meal tracking for today.

Breakfast:

  • South Beach Diet Protein bar, Cranberry Almond

Lunch:

  • Subway Turkey and Ham sub, 6″

Dinner:

  • Homemade nachos

Snacks:

  • black beans with cheese
  • Crystal Light frozen pops

My grade according to Calorie Count is a “B”.

  • Calories: 1248 (good)
  • Carbs: 122 grams (low)
  • Protein: 79 grams (good)
  • Fat: 53 grams (good)
  • Saturated Fat: 21 grams (slightly high-should be 20 grams or less)
  • Cholesterol: 155 grams (good)
  • Sodium: 2788 (way too high-should be 1500 grams or less)
  • Fiber: 23 grams (good)
  • Sugar: 16.2 grams (good)

I have got to start watching the sodium. Ugh. I do love salty foods, but I’m going to have to figure out how to cut down on it. I also know I need to get in more fruits and veggies. Healthy eating can be so difficult when you’re not used to it.
