Weight Loss Update
Okay kids, this is my first post on the new site regarding my weight loss progress. Woohoo! Here are the thoughts running through my head right now:
- I want to try something…an experiment if you will. I have low thyroid, and am taking Thyroitain, a natural herb that is supposed to actually heal the thyroid! But, to be honest, I ran out and have been off it for a couple of weeks. Must order more now! Anyway, my thought is this: I am doing Weight Watchers, so I’m allowed so many points each day, plus 35 Flex points each week. I was thinking about trying to eat 3 points every couple of hours throughout the day instead of eating larger meals 3 times a day. I was thinking this might boost my metabolism some and keep it going throughout the day. So, I will give it a shot whenever I can. Some days won’t work for me because I won’t have access to food like that, especially this next week. I have a leadership conference at the beginning of the week, so we will have the typical 3 meals, then at the end of the week, I have a girls youth retreat, so again, it will be 3 meals. But, the couple of days I am home I will give it a shot to see how it affects my weight loss.
- I’ve been doing the 200 squats challenge and the 200 situps challenge. I’ve been trying to fit in some cardio whenever I can too, but I know I need to up that to at least 3 times a week. I think that is key to fat burning.
- I also need to really concentrate on getting in my water. Some days I do great, others not so great.
- I changed my weigh in day to Saturday. It was Sunday, but it’s just too hard with church and all. So, I weighed in today and I lost 0.2 lbs. Ugh. I hate how slow this is going. But, I know I’m eating healthier and getting exercise, which are very important. So, my weight today is 217.4. I will do a video too and post it here and on my personal blog, so my followers there and on YouTube don’t miss me
- What are some things you do to lose weight? Anyone with low thyroid have tips and advice for me?
