Weekly Weigh In #8

Well, I did it again. I changed my weigh in day. This time, because I’m going to be at a girl’s retreat starting tonight through tomorrow night, so I won’t be able to weigh in tomorrow (Saturday) which is the day I changed it to last week….sorry if I’m confusing you.

Now, on to other news…this week was a bad week for me. I was at a conference that started Sunday night and lasted through Tuesday night, and I didn’t get home until after youth group on Wednesday night. Let’s just say I ate a lot and a lot of bad food…really good tasting food…but bad for the weight loss efforts. So, yesterday I did a “cleanse” and ate nothing but a piece of fruit when I was hungry…an orange, an apple, some grapes, a banana with peanut butter, and then I had a bowl of Cheerios last night. I also drank 64 ounces of sugar free flavored water and coffee.  I feel so good, I’m continuing the cleanse today, until the girls retreat. The good news is, they have lots of fruit at the lodge where were staying so I can continue the cleanse if I so choose. And I’m really going to try to. Right now I don’t want to put any more junk in my body, plus I really like my results this week.

Oh, more news…I joined Jillian Michaels online program. There is a 7 day free trial, so I’m seeing what all is entailed and if it’s something I can stick with. So far, I really like it. She has so many trackers (weight loss, measurements, exercise, etc.) menu plans for each day, exercise plans for each day, etc. The site is chock full of helpful tools and plans customized to your body and weight loss goals. So, once the retreat is over, then I will be able to make some of the recipes she has. They all look delicious, but call for some ingredients I don’t have, so I will have to go shopping if this is the route I decide to go. I’ll keep you posted though.

    Congrats on the loss! I tried JM online program and found it somewhat useful but not enough to pay for. I like Sparkpeople.com alot too.
